nginx the load balancer webserver

I am having a good look at the nginx load balancer and webserver. It achieved its 1.0 release back in April 2011, and it runs a significant number of high profile, high traffic websites including wordpress.com and mail.ru.

Netcraft reports that in December 2011 nginx held 8.21% of the server market for the worlds busiest sites.
